PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Although the weather outside today does not lend itself to thoughts of future birdies and eagles, the playing of the Masters this past weekend is a sure sign that the golf season will soon be upon us. To say we are excited is an understatement, and I am sure you all share this sentiment! We've put together this Spring Newsletter to provide all the information you need to get your 2018 golf season started. So ignore the snow outside, let your mind wander for a few moments and daydream about that perfect swing off number four tee. The exquisite feeling of a dead center contact, the beauty of your ball flying straight and long as the river passes quietly, the morning sun warming your face, and a breeze barely strong enough to bend the blades of grass around your feet! Can you see it? Have a good round!
Early bird registration time is fast approaching. We will be available at the Golf Course for payment of early bird fees on May 5th and may 12th from 10am to 2pm. Come on up to the course and get a jump on the season. The fee structure will remain the same in 2018. If you need a reminder please click here.
DATES TO REMEMBER:
- Course opening date May 19th weather permitting.
- Opening scramble June 2nd.
- AGM meeting June 13th.
- Club championships August 24th and 25th.
- Seniors tournament September 13th.
- Course closing date October 8th.

Don't forget the junior golf program. We had a very successful program last year and we need your help to make this year even better! Spread the word and encourage your kids, grand-kids, family friends etc. to take part. It's an amazing summer recreation opportunity and the life skills and respect that golf teaches are invaluable!
